Exercise and Fitness With Antioxidants Can Prevent Aging and Disease
Exercise and fitness, it's something you either love, hate or just feel indifferent about.
For some people it can actually rule their lives...just look at Madonna. But for others it is something that can be regarded as a chore. Agreed you do need a definite plan, time and willpower for a really strict exercise routine., however exercise dosen't mean sweating for hours on the treadmill or bursting blood vessels pumping iron at the gym, no...relax!
Exercise-and-fitness can be as simple as taking a walk. Yes you can structure your fitness program around the type of person you are and your circumstances. Get good, sensible advice from your Doctor or any fitness and training specialist.
So, what are the benefits of a good fitness and exercise program along with
antioxidants?
Well, for starters, it will make you look better, also you will feel better and obviously stay healthy. Physical and
mental strength
will improve along with mental alertness as well as
boosting your immune system
....and that overall sense of general well-being.
Not only is this proven, but I am personally testimony to this.
How? I exercise 5 days a week, first thing in the morning as soon as I arise starting with press ups and then static weights. When I have finished, I feel a sort of 'buzz' and a definite feel-good factor and am ready to face whatever the day wants to 'throw' at me. I also play as much tennis as I can (weather permitting)for my cardio, and follow a very healthy
antioxidant rich diet.
Result? I am 50 years old but feel like I am in my early twenties, I don't get aches or pains and I can still do everything (and more) that I could 25 years ago without struggling. Exercise and fitness has certainly benefitted me so far and I hope for many years more. To prove it, here is a pic of me winning the Mens Tennis Doubles Championship 2008 at my local club!
Other benefits include lowering of the following... - Cholesterol
- Blood Pressure
- Your Risk of Dangerous Blood Clotting
- Your Risk of Coronary Heart Disease
In fact the primary reason for heart disease is due to inactivity, studies have shown.Exercise also has the ability to slow-down or even prevent the onslaught of diabetes and reverse it if you suffer from it.
As we inevitably grow older disease can be a main threat, however exercise is a major factor in preventing diseases and plays an important role in the longevity of your life too. I believe people who take regular exercise faithfully, could even lower their risk of becoming disabled as they advance in years. I know many people, younger than I am (even teenagers), that suffer from all sorts aches and pains. I put it down to bad diet and not enough exercise. They say the 'proof is in the pudding!'
So, if you don't already take any exercise, it's not too late to start.
